عقدة نفسية (On nodes)

The Arabic word for a state of mental malaise literally translates into the word node.

An image suggesting: an intertwined conflict, not easy to dissolve, a chaotic amount of life events, feelings, thoughts, a chaotic amount of colourful strings. With the passing of time, at some point, what was to flow in calm, parallel lines, got confused, caught up. The moment where the entangled lines could have been unraveled was missed, for one reason or another. Now the knot is tight. Hysterical pulling, hectic resolving won’t do. The lump will only get tighter and the strings could rip. 

How much more mechanical the respective word in English sounds, mental disorder. A system error, its causes irrelevant, its solution a quick fix.
