Licht aus!

honestly i don’t care about halloween. it didn’t exist when i grew up and anyway i was wondering about it’s tremendous role in the us-tv-shows i used to watch as a kid. suddenly it knocked on my door first time years ago and especially german suburbs became more and more horrifying  places, especially that day, year for year…

the most horrifying thing with halloween for me is the fact, that i never have sweets in stock for the kids ringing the doorbell where i hate costumes and therefor stay at home at almost every 31st of october. the day is just not happening in my inner calendar despite all the pumpkins, skulls and whatever everywhere…

so i have to stay with the lights out…

…and maybe i try to connect with the new yearly celebration by watching a horror movie in the dark. maybe one of the kind where you wake up or go around the corner and the population of the world is suddenly snatched away. killer virus, zombie apocalypse, alien invasion, something like that…

…or something like the feeling when you take subway line u55 from reichstag to berlin hauptbahnhof.

hopefully there are some sweets when Ž with his costume rings my doorbell tonight…
