Diplomatenpark is a luxurious housing development recently completed along the Tiergartenstraße. Berlin Liegenschaftsfond sold this area with the name Diplomatenpark in the perspective of the development of a new diplomatic quarter, as it was the case here during the Third Reich. The Diplomatenpark is a series of ten neoclassicist villas with doorman, roof swimming pool, wine cellar, sauna, and many other unknown luxuries and pleasures. The apartments are almost all sold out. In pursue of an image of a street without cars, the internal road is designed with a controlled number of encased parking lots, adding an extra layer of historicism in front of each villa. Despite the existence of underground garages, additional parking had to be allowed retrospectively on the side of the street, in second line.
