American Comfort

Tonight’s comfort features a 16” Red Eye Pizza, with pepperoni (translate: spicy salami), red pepper (translate: peperoni), and loadsa onion. Unapologetically unhealthy, yet oh so good… Whatever secret ambitions you may have of following a paleolithic, South Beach, raw food, vegan, Atkins, or vegetarian diet, are put on hold (durée: indetermineé). Tonight, you will break all the rules, and nothing has ever made more sense than this decision right now.
As you pull out your triangle from the steaming pie laid out front of you, you’re mesmerized by its fumes. With your first bite, you sink deeply into your sofa, and the world outside just slips by. All that’s left is you and your comfort.
