I was always interested in Joaquin Phoenix cleft lip. He is one of the actors, that play with his lips. They are a big part of his art. When Joaquin talks the cleft is moving up and down and you can’t help staring at it. The cleft makes every person, that Joaquin plays, look very dangerous. You could easily say that it’s just about staring at another persons handicap, but it is not. The cleft lip has more to offer. It is poetic, it says that two people live in on person, divided by a lip. The proof is Joaquin’s new film. It is called “Her” by master Spike Jonze and of course the cleft is in the star of the movie. This time, Joaquin looks really soft. And kind. One reason is, he falls in love with a voice from an operating system like SIRI and he talks to that voice every day. (The voice sounds smoky, a little run down and belongs to Scarlett Johansson.) The other reason: Joaquin’s other cleft lip person can finally come out. Watch the trailer, you might want to cry.
