Day 7 details, but only a few.

by Bob Last

On day 5 I went to see  Prisoners a film by Quebecois director Denis Villeneuve, it is about various individual wars on God and of course it is also about delivering sustained tension for our entertainment. Jake Gylenhall who plays a cop who perhaps thinks he has the responsibilities of a god is becoming like Gene Hackman or Warren Oates used to be, watchable in anything. I took the picture below in the foyer of the cinema as a celebration of  my new Blackberry Q10 smartphone and also Richter and Rodchenko. I did not eat any popcorn or sweets during the screening but I did buy a rapsberry licorice stick on my way there:-

I live on the edge of the North Sea, I took this picture 200 metres northeast of my front door today day 7 at about 6pm. I have not yet decided what if anything I want to write about:-

I took this next picture two hours drive East of Winnipeg, Manitoba two weeks ago, I was recce’ing for a feature film, the team with me seemd to like the idea of barbequeing me, this innocent sign had a threatening Wicker Man dimension:

Although I have not decided what to write about if anything I have now shared a mundane story with you. Here is some more data- I spent today editing an interview wiht Alan Pert an architect (his practice is called the Northern Office of Research and Design , a business name I am rather jealous of). I dropped out of an architecture course in 1976, someday I still plan to get a job as a tea boy in a cool architects office. I conducted the interview as part of some research for a government, I spent quite a lot of today thinking about meta products and also haccaeity in the context of government policy. I have mpt figured out if wordpress has a spell checker- it is unpleasant to be reminded how much i rely on one.
