DISMISSED

by Marcus Steinweg

To affirm the other as being constitutive for me means to touch his or her truth, which seems to be inseparable from mine. Coincidence of two aporiae, because this is a bonding of two incommensurabilities: the incommensurability of the other as the other and the incommensurability of a self, which does not exist as a self, as long as marks the opening towards its inconsistency/impossibility. Dismissed into an instability which demonstrates its brittleness, the subject experiences love as the obfuscation of evidence. Who will deny that it generates its own evidence? Without doubt we are dealing with an event which lets the subject live in a different way than until now.
