I fall very easily in a kind of semi-conscious dream state. Or I am very absorbed by what I am reading (which is why I tend to get easily frightened). And that’s a clear disadvantage with regard to public transports. And it’s particularly frustrating when it’s the first thing of the day that you experience.
Usually, it looks like that: I walk to the station, still need to wait a couple of minutes before the tram arrives, and, automatically start to dream around. And, very often, don’t realize that the tram arrives – even though it’s in front of my eyes – and miss it straight away!
But yesterday, I’ve broken all previous records. I forgot – twice – to change to the connecting train. I landed on the way to Lausanne in Geneva and on the way to Zurich in Basel. I was so tired back home, even though I did nothing else than sitting in the train and dreaming around.
