Okay, don’t worry, this ain’t gonna be another one of those “What does a Jew like you think of Christmas?” posts. Really. Cause the truth is simple: Christmas is the best. Just the best. “Completely flawless” as another Jewish friend has put it. Especially if you don’t care about ANY of the religious underpinnings, if you celebrate a completely secularized – some people might say: commercialized – version. When it’s all about being together and getting presents and eating. And no tension at all. That’s just the best.

So that’s what I’ll be doing. Tomorrow I’ll post something on how Slavoj Žižek is horrible. Or maybe the day after that. You’ll see. In the meantime: If it’s good enough for Groucho it’s good enough for me. Or would that actually mean it’s not good enough for him? Ech, stupid Marxian dialectics.
