Irrelevance

by Maryam Zaree

“My name is Ismail Yozgat, my son has died in my arms. From 2000 until 2011 documents have been destroyed, hidden and burned. And if this was not enough the documents of Andreas T. will not be released because of irrelevance.”

Andreas T., who works for the intelligence service, was at the same time in the Internet cafe when Halit Yozgat got killed. He didn’t hear or saw anything but after he left he called his confidential informant.

One journalist wrote today: “…,that the staging of this immeasurable grief by the victims…The staging?
The other wrote: “The joint plaintiffs (the parents of Halit Yozgat) press every button and are always highly emotional.” Really?

Whereas we hear that Beate Zschäpe has hurt her finger and had to wear a bandage, she couldn’t open her laptop easily but was in a pretty good mood today.
