Last night I traveled all over the world. Not in my dreams, but also not in reality. It started with the worry of winter. The memory of the dark cold days, and nights to beat. It went on to seeing where I could go to escape. Skyscanner took me to all these places and countries that seemed within my reach. With every search of possible destination came the research of temperature during January and February. I found the accommodation where in which I would stay. I looked at the galleries I would visit and the parks that I would walk in. I saw the food I would eat and the friends I could meet. I went to Spain and Costa Rica, and loved them. I spent some time in Egypt and Israel, but left both sharpish. I wanted to go beneath the equator but didn’t make it. I hung out in Japan briefly but realised I would have to return at a later date due to my bank balance. India was great. And Malta seemed welcoming. Lisbon asked me to return in the summer months.
