Les Gammas, les Gammas/ The Future is French (III)

at least for me.

IMG_4034 IMG_4035    We hired bikes to go to the Jardin des Plantes (because I visited John Berger in Antony yesterday) and later from the Jardin to the Centre Pompidou to see the Pierre Huyghe show.
Two things which would make the perfect day!
But France is the only place in the world where museums are closed on Tuesday not Monday.

The bikes were great beside this very analogue lock. Back in Berlin I found the bike’s key in my pocket.
Now, is this the key to the future?
(reading Jeanne’s TGV pick I would argue that the future will look German. Enough of this well designed slick present––fast forward to the wonderful world of Telekom magenta.)

I wondered for some time now if it is Berger or Ballard. I think it is John Berger and J.G. Ballard. More on that soon. Anyway: the future is French. Les Gammas n’existent pas.
Even JG Ballard sounds better in French:
