This is a lovely film. A 60 year old never grown up bachelor who still lives with his mother accept to host a few old ladies in his apartment in Rome during the holidays in August to extinguish his debts. This forced cohabitation with these ladies will lead to a mid august lunch. This is a funny low budget film: technically it’s the debut film as a director for Gianni Di Gregorio (who’s also the protagonist), who as a former carreer as a Assistan Director (for Matteo Garrone, for example, who’s here as a producer)… But I know a lot of credits have to go to Massimo Gaudioso, who results here as “artistic supervisor”. Anyway, this is a very nice indipendent lovely film. Worth watching.
