Today MoL’s gym music (public speakers) included: “In a message to the troubadour, the world don’t love you anymore”; “I like the way you work it out work it out”; “From LA to Africa she makes me wanna oh oh oh oh oh oh oh”. MoL preferred the old gym with daytime TV, sound turned down.
MoL, raised in a tradition of monastic silence, sometimes finds the electronic bombardment too much. Everything happens now. Sometimes it’s great and sometimes MoL misses Sunday six bells and nothing happening at all.
Still, MoL learned something today. This from School Website: I do criticise though the lack of originality in She Makes Me Wanna. The LA to Africa moment makes me immediately think of On The Floor by J.Lo, and the beat is another Calvin Harris I’m Not Alone rehash. *sigh* Regardless of this, no doubt JLS’ solid fanbase in the UK will make this a #1 hit there.
