My grilfriend Valentina plays ukulele. From a few years now. There’s even a video in youtube in which she ironically teaches how to do it. For her birthday my present was a session in a professional studio to record her first two original songs. Since the studio I had in mind in near our hometown (it’s the studio of Andrea, the guy who produced the last two records of my band, MAMBASSA), we decide to have of our first day of recording. The first song it’s called “How long I’ve loved you” (yes, she sings in English) and it’s dedicated to me. She’s the artist, and this time I will be the producer. Valentina’s brother Carlo – who’s a professional jazz drummer – will play the drums. Everything is nice and sweet. And her voice recorded sounds just lovely. Life should be more like today.
