Note to Self

by Eva Wilson

I had such a nice topic to write about today, and now I ran out of time. I had this whole idea laid out on illegible script – script that looks like writing but really is just ornament – to be found in Early Modern painting. It would have been such a fitting response to 60pages’ latent mid-life crisis in regard to writing, sense and meaning.

But now I have to run to see Toni Negri talk about “The Limits of Capitalism”. So it will have to be from the anticipated retrospect of tomorrow, between sessions at the conference on “Fiction and Perspectivity”, that the text on illegibility will be written.

I will write myself a note.
