Things didn’t get better on my way back to Zurich, when I was sitting next to Algerian asylum seekers. They didn’t have a train ticket. They were drunk. They asked everybody for money and every woman for a romantic dinner. The train police had to come. They told me that they were lawyers and that they had no job in their country. That’s why they came to Switzerland. To work. But they felt rejected by the Swiss society. And that’s how things evolved. The consequences of corruption are so sad. Their behavior as well. And stereotypes even more. Because we are not capable of judging objectively. Because we’re not capable of not generalizing what we see around us. The Swiss guy sitting next to me told me that this is the reason why he voted against mass immigration. He doesn’t like Arabs, he hates Islam. Of course, he loves stereotypes. And when he asked me where I originally came from, I told him: Brazil. Wow, Brazil! Capoeira, Samba, Carneval, Tanga, Ronaldo! Brazil rocks, man! Not like these fucking stupid terrorists! But, actually, who is stupid here?
