Have you ever dreamed the dreamers dream? I know a place close by, where dream and reality verge to each other like day and night time. It’s hard to differ but also pointless. Either you’re having lucid dreams or reality is like a dream itself. You can choose one or just accept either of them. Time will be confused and wireless communication close, but not close enough to haunt you like a bad trip or unexpected election outcomes. You almost won’t hear nothing about being swiss or the right to vote and the contrast between mountain valleys and city jungles or borders built by men from abroad to assure the wealth within no boundaries, again made by the very same men abroad and by the majority in mines & real jungles, factories & sweat shops in motherland africa or deserted cities around the dragon & elephant regions. They get triggered and activated a thousand times by the never ending sustainable accumulation machines in our beloved homeland.
My home is in the mountains, in the city, close to the border, inside asian caucasian ideas of restricted freedom some call united. But if I’m looking for some real freedom – if only for some daydreaming days: SILENCE-MARRAKECH is the place you’re probably looking for too. Close to the city, inside the desert and surrounded by mountains. You hear birds & crickets, muezzin & muslims crying or praying next to farmers, wandering the hills with their sheep & companions. But most of the time it’s just quiet and you can rest and become more one with the surrounding and yourself again. Or make music and eat the most delicious food you’ll find on the markets inside and outside marrakech. I’m still swiss, but since my father lives in marroco, I’m daydreaming about being half moroccan & therefore free to choose. At least sometimes.
