Taking the first steps…

I had been to this area on the outskirts of Delhi many times before. What drove me there initially was the unbelievable sight of a gigantic garbage mountain.
What motivated me to spend longer time there, were the people whose silhouettes I saw working on top of the mountain, the ones who recycle for me, the ones who keep my city clean.
On today’s first day of slacktivism we were slacklining with their children, sharing time, sharing laughter, sharing stories.
We can’t wait to visit again.
