The Boat Party

I remember very clearly how it felt not being able to decide whether to sit or lay down, smoke cigarettes or eat any thing, go outside or stay home in my dungeon. It wasn’t really the best time of my life. now it’s a different animal, different time and in-decision turned into de-restriction.

But telling you which boat party to dance on tonight ain’t that simple. There is the phreaky motherfucker from Detroit in Basel: Kenny Dixon Junior aka Moodymann. If you haven’t seen him before playing records, census is over. But then again, we have this Italian Connaisseur of tasteful boogie, italo disco and minimal wave called Max Bunt & our favourite resident Neevo at Ladybar.

suggestion: first you and your friends go for some of the best food in town to Feldberg next to Ladybar, warm up in our bar, drink some courvoisier or champagne, listening to those better doing Italians before you take a small sea boat to chug over to Hinterhof, where another of our favourite residents (I know, we’ve got even more than a handful) Dario Rohrback aka Care Hand is doing the Introduction for Mr. Dixon Jr. Fill time with love & dance like it’s more than just another day.
