The hammer…

It’s a public park.
People savor the great weather.
They have a picnic with friends or family.
People enjoy a break, some time out, the freedom of freedom itself.

A few families are working though.
They are hired to take care of the plants, bushes, trees, meadows.

A small group of them suddenly create this beautiful picture. A simple moment in their life, a soft one but still not silent.

The hammer reveals the deeper context of the people’s livelihood.

You feel like simply photographing it.
You walk towards them.
You say hello.
You smile.
They smile.
You ask if you are allowed to take a picture.
They say yes.
You say thank you.
You photograph.

A man approaches fast and is angry.
He speaks fast as he says it wouldn’t be right to photograph.
It’s not allowed.
They are working under him.
He is responsible for them

The hammer reveals his actual concern.
