I was always wondering what kind of people would buy the TV-Programm Magazines. No, actually I thought they wouldn’t exist anymore, probably since the 1990’s, or if they still existed that at least nobody would actually buy them or read them. Until today. One of those people still buying them was sitting next to me in the Metro this morning. He held this magazine called TV Zeit ( TV Time) — never heard this title before — in his hands as if it was something very precious. He stared at the cover. He took his time before he opened it. It seamed to increase his pleasure. He turned the first page so carefully as if it was a very old book with original drawings by Leonardo da Vinci. He spent at least two minutes on every page. But there was nothing––besides stupid advertisemenst and bad TV-Show announcements. Probably he was anticipating what he would watch later this evening. That made him go through the day. I was truly fascinated.
